I’m Caleb Cameron, a Canadian-born film composer based in Cleveland, Ohio. Over the years, I’ve written everything from pieces for classical ensembles to music for national television, with credits on the Discovery Channel, Corus TV, and the W Network. Along the way, I’ve been nominated for four GMA Covenant Awards and won best score at the Cleveland 48hr SciFi/Horror Film Fest.I studied at Berklee College of Music, and my writing usually leans toward post-classical, cinematic sounds layering spaced-delayed keys, electronic textures, and field recordings into something atmospheric and emotional.
Before focusing fully on composing, I worked as a Telly Award–winning video and podcast editor, specializing in non-fiction storytelling and non-profit communications.Outside of composing, I work as the Studio Manager at Heights Theater Studio- home to Cleveland's premiere orchestral contracting company for film and TV. I’m passionate about humane technology, creating in the healthy eats in the kitchen, and making the world a calmer place.
I live in Cleveland with my wife, Abby, and I’m always looking for the next meaningful project to score, whether that’s a feature, a documentary, or something that pushes the boundaries of sound and storytelling.
